Buttermilk Biscuits

  • 2 cups self-rising flour
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 pinch baking soda
  • buttermilk, as needed

  1. Preheat oven to 475 degrees.
  2. Mix flour, oil and soda together.
  3. Add buttermilk until a doughy consistency of all the ingredients occurs.
  4. Roll out dough with a flour covered roller.
  5. Cut biscuits and place on a cookie sheet.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
